Dr. Mark Connolly, Partner, Geneva

Mark received his training in health economics and pharmacology and has since gained 15 years pharmaceutical industry experience. Prior to founding GMAS, Mark worked as the International Pricing and Reimbursement Director for Ferring Pharmaceuticals. He has extensive international experience, having previously worked in a Global role for GlaxoSmithKline and in an Asia-Pacific position with Aventis Pharma.

Mark holds a guest lecturer position within the Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics Department of the University of Groningen, where he also completed his doctorate on 'The Economics of Assisted Reproduction'. Mark's academic interests include health investment modelling and pharmaceutical policy. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and has had his work reported in major print, television and internet media, including the BBC, Newsweek and the Economist.
